Terms

The terms jtakeit is offered on, written to say what the service actually does. Short on purpose: where something is not here, Swiss law decides.

Last updated 22 October 2026

Who these terms are between

jtakeit is operated by Brumy GmbH, Strehlgasse 2, 8001 Zürich, Switzerland (“we”). These terms are between us and whoever opens an account (“you”) — usually a studio or a developer who builds websites for clients. By signing up or by putting a site live you accept them.

jtakeit is offered to businesses and professionals, not to consumers. If you open an account for a company, you accept these terms on its behalf.

What jtakeit does

You, or an AI agent working for you, write a website into a git repository. jtakeit builds it, hosts it, connects its domain, and runs what a static site cannot do on its own: the owner's panel, enquiry forms, bookings and payments through the business's own Stripe account, and visit counts. A site can be built and previewed privately before it goes live.

We provide the platform; we do not design or write your clients' websites, and what a website says is the responsibility of whoever publishes it.

Your account

Give us true details and keep them current. You are responsible for what happens under your account — including the people you invite and the agent tokens you create — so keep access to it to yourself and the people you trust, and tell us at hello@jtakeit.com if you think somebody else has it.

Free use has reasonable limits on how many unlaunched sites and builds an account may have; the panel says when one is reached.

Prices and paying

  • Building and previewing a site is free. You pay only for sites that are live, per site, monthly or yearly, at the prices on the pricing page on the day you subscribe.
  • Prices are in euros and exclude tax; VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.
  • You pay in advance for each period, by card or another method Stripe offers. When the number of live sites changes, the difference is invoiced or credited pro rata straight away.
  • What you charge your own client is yours to set. We take no commission on it, nor on the bookings and payments your clients' websites take.
  • We may change prices with at least thirty days' notice by email; a new price applies from your next period, and you may cancel before it does.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the panel. The subscription then runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and that period is not refunded. Taking a single site down instead credits its unused part pro rata against your next invoice.

We may end these terms with thirty days' notice, or straight away if you seriously breach them.

When payment stops

If a payment fails or a subscription ends while sites are live, nothing changes at once. What follows, counted from that day:

  • Day 0: we tell you, and Stripe retries the payment.
  • Day 14: editing and publishing stop, and forms and bookings stop taking new entries. The websites go on being served, and everything already received can still be seen and exported.
  • Day 23: a final notice.
  • Day 30: the websites are taken offline and show a page saying so.
  • After twelve months we give thirty days' notice, then delete the sites' content, media and records.

Paying what is owed at any point before deletion brings everything back as it was. The business a website belongs to is told too, and may take the website on and pay for it itself.

Your content and your clients

  • The code, words, photographs and data of a website stay with whoever owns them — you, or your client. You give us the right to store, build, copy and serve them only as far as running the service needs.
  • Your client keeps their website and their data, whatever happens between you and them. They can export their enquiries and bookings, and if you stop paying for their website they are offered to take it over and pay for it themselves.
  • We keep a copy of the code of every website we host, so that a website whose business goes on paying can go on being built and served even if the repository it came from is gone.
  • You make sure that what you publish is lawful and that you have the rights to it, and that your client's website tells its visitors what it collects. How we handle that data for them is on jtakeit.com/processing; how we handle yours is in the privacy policy.

What you may not do

  • publish anything illegal, or anything that infringes somebody else's rights;
  • send spam, phish, spread malware, or attack jtakeit or anybody else from it;
  • get around the limits of the service, or of another account's access;
  • resell jtakeit's scaffold or agent tooling as a hosting service of your own. Building and selling websites with them is exactly what they are for.

We may take down content that breaks these rules or the law, or suspend an account that does, and we tell the website's owner what was done and why. Reports go to hello@jtakeit.com.

Availability

We work to keep websites up and the panel working, and published websites are served from a global network independently of the panel. We do not promise uninterrupted service: maintenance, failures of the providers we rely on, and things outside our control can interrupt it. The service changes over time; we will not take away a feature you pay for without notice.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost enquiries or bookings, lost data — and our total liability for everything in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us in those twelve months. Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A change that affects you materially is announced by email or in the panel at least thirty days before it applies; if you do not accept it, you may cancel before then.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts of Zürich, Switzerland, have jurisdiction.
